Located along Kenton Drive, the 85,400 square foot expansion will centralize the universityβs science programs into one modern facility with upgraded technology and instrumentation, significantly boosting opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaborations and creating dedicated facilities for K-12 STEM outreach. An additional 15,000 square feet of existing space will be renovated to include flexible classrooms, lab support, and upgrades to critical systems.
Close proximity to the planned βNorse Network Hubβ will support expanded partnerships with the regionβs life sciences and advanced manufacturing industries, creating new opportunities for internships and co-ops for students majoring in the sciences.
