Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a fully admitted student in any of the majors within the Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership;
- Must be of senior standing by the end of the spring semester (associate degree students must have at least 45 hours by the end of the spring semester);
- Must have completed a minimum of 12 hours within the Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership;
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00; must have interest in pursuing a career within the law enforcement field.
Applicants must submit a cover sheet that includes their name, Social Security number, major, cumulativce GPA , major GPA and their courses for the fall semester. The cover sheet must also be signed by a faculty member in the Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership.
The cover sheet must be accompanied by a copy of the student's degree audit from myNKU and 250-word typed essay describing career goals and why they are interested in a law enforcement career.
