Oct. 12, 2021 —  鶹ý will host its 14th annual Cybersecurity Symposium featuring cybersecurity leaders from across the nation. The symposium, sponsored by the Chase College of Law and the College of Informatics, focuses on cybersecurity challenges, legal issues, privacy, risk, best industry practices and networking.

“This conference is filled with timely information,” said organizer Brian Jaynes. “With recent hacks, such as with Twitch, and a renewed interest in cyber law with the testimony of a Facebook whistleblower, cybersecurity and ethical issues are at the forefront of people’s minds and this conference will have plenty of experts to discuss these affairs.”

Several industry professionals and leaders from a wide range of companies and firms, including Fortune 500 Companies along with small to medium-sized organizations and prominent national law firms, will be featured.

David Kennedy, founder of Binary Defense and TrustedSec, is the keynote speaker. Kennedy has made guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and other high-profile media outlets. He is the founder of DerbyCon, a large-scale security conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
