In September 2020, 鶹ý and the City of Covington unveiled the Collaborative for Economic Engagement, a one-stop innovation hub for businesses and entrepreneurs to accelerate economic growth in the area.
The Collaborative for Economic Engagement will leverage regional agencies and programs as well as NKU’s expertise in data analytics, health, logistics and entrepreneurial innovation to provide the tools that entrepreneurs need to thrive. Given the financial impacts of the pandemic, the Collaborative for Economic Engagement will play an essential role in helping the local economy move from recovery into growth.
As part of our initiatives to enhance health innovation, we offer two bi-annual funding opportunities for 鶹ý faculty through the IHI Faculty Fellows program. The Seed Grants provide support for faculty research, scholarship, creative endeavors, or teaching efforts in health, health literacy, healthcare, and the social determinants of health. The Branch Awards provide support for faculty in moving from “discussion” of interdisciplinary collaboration to action, which will heighten their professional visibility or the impact of NKU in the fields of health, health literacy, healthcare, or the social determinants of health.
