Adult and Transfer Center (ATC) Orientation
All new incoming students are required to participate in an orientation experience. Our programs are designed to assist you with understanding our university culture, your academic program, the transfer credit articulation process, and will familiarize you with navigating our campus.

Virtual Orientation Registration
All students accepted into an online program will need to complete an . You will need your NKU user ID (from your letter of acceptance) and password to set up an account. For questions about the online student orientation, please email Orientation.
On-Campus Orientation Registration
This orientation mode is designed specifically for our transfer, adult, military-affiliated, and student parents. It is an on-campus experience that will introduce you to campus resources at NKU. You will learn about student services, technology at NKU, your financial aid packet, and your academic major and college. Please select the date below that works best for you and complete the registration. We look forward to welcoming you to your next stop – NKU!
Students participating in Orientation are required to pay the $100 fee. You can pay your Orientation Fee by logging into your myNKU account, select "Student Self Service," and then select "Orientation Payment."
*Advising and course registration is NOT included as part of the Adult and Transfer Center orientation program. You are eligible to be advised and register as soon you have been accepted to the university and confirm your enrollment. Once you have paid the $75 Enrollment Confirmation Fee, you may contact your advisor and make an appointment. We encourage you to do so as soon as possible!

Any current and admitted NKU student with a disability and those who have reason to believe they may need accommodations, is asked to initiate contact and self-identify to NKU Student Accessibility Services preferably prior to the start of the semester or as soon as the disability becomes known.
You may be eligible to be a TRIO SSS participant if you are a first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian has earned a bachelor’s degree), come from a limited income family, or have a documented disability. Once transcripts are received, a Transfer Evaluator will enter your coursework and evaluate courses based on guidelines set forth by ACE recommendations. Once entered and evaluated, a Transfer Credit Approval Report will be mailed to you. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the entry and evaluation of your transcript. There is no fee for these transcripts.

Parents Attending College (PAC) serves parents attending college at Â鶹´«Ã½. We realize that being a student parent comes with a unique set of challenges. We're here to assist you in attaining the services you need to persist to graduation. Navigating the various support programs can seem overwhelming and time consuming. Contact the PAC office to schedule an appointment and learn more about the specific programs and services that may be available to you.
