Â鶹´«Ã½ is required by law to review each international student's financial documents before an I-20 can be issued for an F-1 visa application. An international student needs to show proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition, fees, living expenses (housing and meals), and health insurance.
If dependents (a spouse or children) will accompany you while you are studying at NKU, you will need funding for an additional $6,000 for the first dependent and $3,000 for each additional dependent. You will need to submit the Dependent Request Form with the financial documents on the I-20 Request Form.
Please note that the tuition and fees do not include personal expenses (i.e. transportation, clothing, entertainment, etc.). ISSS strongly recommends that you also account for an additional $2,000 - $3,000 per academic year, depending on your lifestyle.
Â鶹´«Ã½ reserves the right to increase or modify tuition and fees without prior notice, upon approval by the Board of Regents. To learn more about tuition terms and conditions, payments and associated fees, please visit
