The fall semester kicked off with a bang, celebrating the start of a brand new school year and the Haile/US Bank College of Business’s largest event, Business Week.  The annual two-day event was held September 26 – 27, exposing business students to valuable, cutting-edge, and relevant business-centered presentations from experienced professional leaders serving in multi-faceted functions from companies operating around the globe.

Craig Wynett, Chief Innovation Officer for Procter & Gamble, and Scott Cauvel, Director of U.S. Retail Marketing for the Ford Motor Company, were this year’s keynote speakers.  On Tuesday afternoon, a diverse cross-section of local businesses were represented at the CEO roundtable.  In addition to these special presentations, over 50 breakout sessions were held in both speaker and interactive formats.

Sponsors this year included Kroger, DHL, Procter & Gamble, CDK Global, Western & Southern Financial Group, and Northwestern Mutual.  The first-ever Business Week picnic was sponsored by Kroger, bringing students, faculty, and featured speakers together to share a meal on NKU’s campus lawn.

Having moved permanently to the fall semester, Business Week concluded with over 90 organizations actively recruiting students at Career Connections, a career fair for business-related positions, and Meet the Firms, a job fair for accounting students and professionals.
