In the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program, you will learn how to provide care for people of all ages and in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics and community agencies. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity for experiential learning in our state-of-the-art simulation center. As a graduate of the BSN Program you will be prepared to become a health care leader in a global society.
The BSN degree allows for graduates to practice in a profession that integrates science and the art of caring. Once you successfully complete the degree you will be eligible to sit for the state board licensing exam to become a registered nurse. The Commonwealth of Kentucky Board of Nursing certifies that the Â鶹´«Ã½ Baccalaureate Degree Program has met the requirements established by law and the Kentucky Board of Nursing. In alignment with the U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) for Nursing Education, the Baccalaureate Degree Program at Â鶹´«Ã½ provides a comprehensive curriculum which prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination.
