  • Mentored Research: You can work directly with our faculty and develop the skills to not just ask but also to answer psychology research questions. Students can conduct research under faculty supervision for psychology course credit. In addition, for interested and eligible students, we offer an Honors in Psychology (HIP) program for students meeting specified GPA and course requirements.
  • Internships: Don’t just learn on campus, learn on the job. We have numerous internship opportunities in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati metro area. Internships can be completed for psychology course credit and we work with students to ensure that internship experiences align with your career goals. For many students, these internships lead to permanent positions after graduation.
  • Psychology Club and Psi Chi: Develop your leadership skills and make new friends by joining Psychology Club. The organization offers a mix of educational, service, and social activities to enhance the academic experience of a psychology student. Eligible students who meet GPA requirements can apply to join Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. The Department holds an Induction Ceremony twice a year and student leadership positions allow a student to build career skills.
